The Livingstone’s turaco is often easier to locate by ear than eye. Its call is a distinctive, gruff and increasingly hurried succession of kow notes—more or less like an indignant conversation conducted somewhere above your head.
Nestled behind the world's highest vegetated sand dunes and a mere 6 km from the beach, Sodwana Bay Lodge is a sight for sore eyes. With its charming, honey-hued wood and thatch, the hotel blends seamlessly into the tropical greenery around.
To supplement the surroundings, our hotel offers an invigorating blend of open spaces and adventures. Add to this a massive swimming pool, plus razzle-dazzle food and you’re set for a blast.
Hotel Accommodation
Sink into comfortable accommodation with service to match. Generously-sized non-selfcatering ensuite bedrooms - either twin or double - sport comfortable furnishings and all the little extras, such as a tea/coffee station, TV, aircon and Wi-Fi. And what a pleasure to enjoy views of the verdant garden from the balcony.
Note that self-catering chalets on the property can be rented from www.rci.co.za. These chalets aren't part of the lodge accommodation.
