Turtle Tours
Witness turtles in their element — mothers carving nests in the sand, and tiny hatchlings launching themselves in a fearless sprint toward the ocean.
This tour is more than just a precious sight. We also educate our visitors and tour participants about the constant struggle for survival of the endangered walnut-hued leatherback turtle clocking in at 700 kg and the white-bellied loggerhead at a respectable 160 kg.
From November to March we do evening beach drives to see these turtles nest and hatch along the beautiful 16-km shoreline. Being tide-dependent, departure times vary.
